I'd wait and wait and wait...then the DJ would totally jack up the beginning. My stereo was HUGE - with that stupid double recorder deck. Then painstakingly snapping the tab so no one could record over my precious mixed tape.

Thanks for the GREAT memories!!

http://jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01290655745851708046noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2306303306134956607.post-7092327335863965282010-09-10T09:42:20.545-05:002010-09-10T09:42:20.545-05:00HA! I still would rather relive my own youth than ...HA! I still would rather relive my own youth than be growing up today. My mom did the safety arm, too. Of course, in the huge front seat of a '57 Chevy her arm usually only managed to shield the child in the middle, not the one near the passenger door, lol. We all survived just fine. I do fasten my seat belt today. My first car didn't have them, took a while to get into the habit.Denesehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16724557656399049287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2306303306134956607.post-8859002771791915522010-09-09T21:01:34.589-05:002010-09-09T21:01:34.589-05:00You are so right!!!!
