Spring and My Book!

Hope everyone is having a great day! It's been wonderful around here, spring has sprung, except that the last 2 nights have gotten down below freezing! I had a goji plant that I planted last summer and another one that I planted about a month ago, they are all budding out and I didn't want to lose them. So the first night it got cold, I wrapped a wool blanket around the wire cage over it, I also placed an old fashioned hot water bottle next to the plants (full of boiling water of course). It seemed to have worked, the green leaves looked just fine in the morning. So last night I knew it was going to get cold, just not as cold, so I just wrapped the blanket around the wire frame again but didn't use the hot water bottle. I noted that it got down to 32F, and right now at nearly 8am, it's 36F and rising.

Now to talk about the really exciting news. After publishing my book, From Flood to Fountain: Water in the Bible, I had ordered an author's copy, once I received it, I decided I wanted to make a few tweaks in the format, the body of the text stayed pretty much the same. Now it's fully complete and live.
I had planned on making a note takers edition, I ordered a proof of that one, once I held it in my hands and got some feedback from a few other people, I decided to not do the notetakers edition. The main reason is the bigger format is just too unwieldy to handle, especially if you are going to write in it. So instead, one of the changes I made to the standard size 6x9 book, I added a few extra pages between each chapter and wrote the word "Notes" at the top of the blank pages. I believe that will satisfy anyone who wants to add notes and the book isn't overly large. I also added a little flourish at the top of the first page of each new chapter. I am really happy with this.

I would love it if my readers would order a copy for themselves, you can order the physical copy or you can order the Kindle version, if you have Kindle Unlimited you can read it for free (note: authors are paid by the pages read), so either way helps me. If you cannot or won't order this book, one thing you can do to help support me that won't cost you a dine is to follow me on Amazon, I would greatly appreciate that!

Now I'm going to bed, I stayed up all night working on another job, I'll talk about that later. Good morning!
