MOVING TO MEXICO

Dear President Obama:

I'm planning to move my family and extended family into Mexico for my health, and I would like to ask you to assist me.

We're planning to simply walk across the border from the U.S. Into Mexico, and we'll need your help to make a few arrangements.

We plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws.

I'm sure they handle those things the same way you do here. So, would you mind telling your buddy, President Calderon, that I'm on my way over?

Please let him know that I will be expecting the following:

1. Free medical care for my entire family.

2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need, whether I use them or not.

3. Please print all Mexican government forms in English.

4. I want my grandkids to be taught Spanish by English-speaking (bi-lingual) teachers.

5. Tell their schools they need to include classes on American culture and history.

6. I want my grandkids to see the American flag on one of the flag poles at their school.

7. Please plan to feed my grandkids at school for both breakfast and lunch.

8. I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy access to government services.

9. I do plan to get a car and drive in Mexico , but, I don't plan to purchase car insurance, and I probably won't make any special effort to learn local traffic laws.

10. In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from their president to leave me alone, please be sure that every patrol car has at least one English-speaking officer.

11. I plan to fly the U.S. Flag from my house top, put U S. Flag decals on my car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals.

12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, or have any labor or tax laws enforced on any business I may start.

13. Please have the president tell all the Mexican people to be extremely nice and never say critical things about me or my family, or about the strain we might place on their economy.

14. I want to receive free food stamps.

15. Naturally, I'll expect free rent subsidies.

16. I'll need Income tax credits so although I don't pay Mexican Taxes, I'll receive money from the government.

17. Please arrange it so that the Mexican Gov't pays $4,500 to help me buy a new car.

18. Oh yes, I almost forgot, please enroll me free into the Mexican Social Security program so that I'll get a monthly income in retirement.

I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for all his people who walk over to the U..S. From Mexico . I am sure that President Calderon won't mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely..

Thank you so much for your kind help. You're the man!!!

Not all immigrants, legal or illegal represent what is stated above, most are hard working people who want to improve their lives and the lives of their families. There are many USA born who feel that they are entitled to these things in the USA, and would like to change our capitalistic lifestyle to a more socialistic mode of government.
I have no problem with LEGAL immigration, I can understand why people would risk their lives to try to enter this great Country, just do it the right way, or better yet, do what you can to improve the living conditions in your own country.

I might remove this post in a few days, not because I've changed my mind about any of it, I'm just in a bad mood today, a friend sent this in an email and I decided to post it here. Tomorrow I will probably be in a better mood and will not want something this dark on my blog, it's not what I'm about. Read it while you can.

  1. I thought it was cute, not being from the western US. We don't have as big an illegal alien problem here in Canada.

  2. W, I guess we all have to have some dark moods every once in a while. I hope tomorrow is better! Regardless, I read this to David and we laughed out loud. I especially like the 4th of July requirements. You are right, many immigrants in our country are hard working folks who want a better life. It reminds me that at one time, my father lived on a reservation and my mother's family made their way from Ireland.

  3. I am Native American and watching closely the immigration policy and wars. Our people did the same thing when the Europeans invaded and killed off 90% of us and destroyed our homes and food sources. It was the first time genocide was used as far as I can tell. We tried to hang onto our way of life and we helped the invaders when asked to do so. We taught them to survive in this country and befriended many of them. We learned their language and my great grandmother was sent away from her family at the age of 5 to learn their ways. She left the school at age 14 and married a white man and now we look very much like the Europeans. Our immigration policies destroyed us and I am watching as Americans are learning what goes around comes around.

  5. Frustrating isn't it.
I have nothing against legal immigrants.

Just this year, my daughter in law and grandson moved in with us.
She is having a difficult time getting grants and loans for college. her two year degree will take five.
Because, get this, she is not on welfare of any kind, is not an immigrant, and she speaks English only.
    AARRRRGGGHHH.
I told her to re-apply to the college and tell them she is an illegal immigrant. She met several girls who are in college here, all illegal, and telling each other how to work the system.
I am angry. An angry taxpayer
